Consultant/Snr Consultant - Defence

We are recognised as a highly regarded strategic partner for our clients. We are actively seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our growing Government and Public Sector (GPS) team. This role will predominately focus on the Defence Sector within the larger GPS segment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join BearingPoint at a pivotal moment of growth and investment. What type of work will you be doing?

Our GPS team help public sector organisations to improve business and operational performance.  The successful individual will work across projects in both management and technology consulting, primarily serving the MOD and other clients in the Defence sector. Our work involves business transformation, modernising digital systems and supporting innovation across public and private sector clients.

What we look for in a Consultant/Senior Consultant

• Strong experience of delivery within the Defence sector covering core consulting domains: e.g. digital transformation, business strategy, process excellence, operational improvement, business analysis, business case development or technology delivery.

• Demonstrates integrity to do the right thing - for your clients and your team.

• Ability to draw insights from data and use evidence to draw conclusions and recommendations.

What we will look for in your CV:

• 5+ years Defence experience, ideally within (or working with) one of the following areas or their functions: Defence Digital, Defence Medical, Defence Supply Chain and Operations, Defence Procurement, Field Army.

• Understanding of current issues and connections with key individuals in these areas.

• SC/DV clearance or willingness to obtain relevant security clearance.

• Evidence of business, process and data analysis activities within the Defence sector, specifically in deployed environments.

• Successful project or programme management and delivery.

• Understanding of how technology can help solve problems.

• Willing to learn, evidenced by professional growth and development.
