We are currently looking for a Procurement Consultant with experience in Source to Pay process improvements, technology supplier selection and with a good SAP Ariba, Coupa or Jaggaer track record to join our team.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

 

  • Manage and lead procurement delivery teams across a portfolio of projects including the mentoring and coaching of more junior colleagues and emerging leadership skills.

  • Manage and lead the development of bid winning tender responses.

  • Understand client needs and advise on source to pay improvement activities for technology, process and organisation design.

  • Support end-to-end strategy to implementation of procurement’s digital and analytics capabilities, including but not limited to SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, etc.

  • Maintain an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, analytics, the Procurement ecosystem and broader marketplace.

  • Effective liaison with stakeholders to enable projects to progress without delay, ensuring that all reasonable requests are met in a timely efficient manner.

  • Working with clients and team members to provide leadership and direction for the preparation of tender and contract documents and procurement processes.

  • Manage and lead the creation of strategic change and actionable plans to align supply chains with clients’ business objectives and priorities.

  • Working on client projects through the project lifecycle, from sale/ deal closure to solution design and activity planning, successful delivery, contract management and knowledge capture.

  • Diagnosing and tackling complex procurement and supply chain-related business problems, across large-scale consulting engagements, designing and implementing solutions that can demonstrate benefits and value delivered.

  • Interfaces with the programme managers, project managers and planners to deliver professional and competent advice and support, to ensure that projects are managed in accordance with the contract and meeting the required reporting deadlines.

  • Understand and follow procurement risk management and processes to support the project manager, client and wider project team in necessary change and commercial aspects of project delivery.

  • Identifying and securing further work opportunities for BearingPoint.

  • Leadership responsibility for internal management of projects including quality, fee and health and safety matters.

  • Communicating potential solutions and outcomes to clients and stakeholders.
